about me

I’m a Colorado native born in Denver, and raised in the foothills just west of Golden. As soon as I could walk, I was on a pair of skis at Loveland Ski Area, before strapping on my first snowboard a few years later. I’ve never looked back. I firmly believe that playing on the snow (hopefully snow that at least hits your knees) is good for the soul. The mountains offer us an opportunity to be ourselves, and regardless of whether you ski, board, tele it is always amazing for me to see people having the time of their lives whether they’ve been shredding for years or it’s their first time.

My “home mountain” is Winter Park, Colorado which has some of the gnarliest bumps on the planet, but I enjoy snowboarding all over the front range and all over the state. I’ve been fortunate enough to ride places like Squaw Valley and Alpine Meadows in California, Snowbird and Park City in Utah, and the Yellowstone Club and Big Sky in Montana. I will never forget days cat skiing on Buffalo Pass near Steamboat, Colorado and on Thunder Ridge, just outside of Leadville. I love the mountains, and as I gain more experience I’m looking more toward the back country.

I believe that skiing and snowboarding is a social and communal experience, and that half the joy is sharing your experiences with your buddies. This is my attempt to share my experiences with the ski world, and I hope that you get pumped looking through it!
