Broadening horizons with BeerMountaineer

Growing up and going to school in the shadow of the Continental Divide in Colorado’s Front Range, I’ve had some amazing days playing outside, especially in the mountains during the winter. I’ve been fortunate to snowboard all over Colorado, from Parsenn Bowl in Winter Park, to taking face shots in Aspen’s Highland Bowl to carving fresh tracks on Buffalo Pass near Steamboat. I’ve also had the opportunity to ride in California, Utah and Montana. I’ve met some amazing people along the way who share my passion for deep snow, and they inspire me to keep looking for the next stash.

I met my good friend Anthony and his wife Becca as part of my MBA program at CU-Boulder, both of whom share my passion for playing in the mountains. Becca and Anthony love the outdoors, and they’ve had some incredible experiences all over the world - not just snowboarding, but also mountain biking and fly fishing among other things. I trust their advice and experience when it comes to the outdoors. Hearing about and seeing their adventures always gets me pumped. My content here at Snow Junkie Colorado is only a small piece of this world, and if you want to see more amazing experiences, I highly recommend visiting Anthony and Becca’s blog at http://www.beermountaineer.com/. You won’t be disappointed, and you’ll probably learn a lot!
